Rising Generation Youth Chorus will hold auditions for the 2012-2013 Season on the following dates.

Auditions for returning choir members (Hazelwood Building):

Thursday, April 26
6:00-9:00 pm

Auditions for new choir member will take place at the
St. Louis Stake Center (Chesterfield Building)
15081 Clayton Road:

Thursday, May 10 Saturday, May 12
6:00-9:00 pm 9:00-12:00 am

Youth must be entering grades 9-12 this fall in order to audition, however, 8th grade boys with strong recommendations may also audition.

Perform a selection of your choice, no longer than one minute in length. Bring a back up CD or MP3 for accompaniment or provide sheet music for our pianist. Art songs or Broadway musical numbers are the best to audition with. Please avoid bring EFY or popular music. Those playing an instrument are encouraged to prepare an instrumental audition piece as well.

Please dress appropriately for your audition. A button down shirt for the young men, or a skirt for the young women helps to make a good first impression. Of course, all who audition are expected to be in line with the standards stated in "For the Strength of Youth."

Come and share your talent with us! For more information, please contact Michelle Martin
